Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Commercial Construction Estimator to accurately estimate costs associated with commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. As a key member of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the profitability and success of their projects by providing accurate and timely estimates.
Responsibilities:

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimations.
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare detailed estimates and proposals.
Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and present estimates to management and clients, explaining cost breakdowns and assumptions.
Track and maintain records of project costs, changes, and updates throughout the construction process.
Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
