What You Will Do:

  • Initiate, drive and support BPI (Business Process Improvement) strategies and lean initiatives
  • Organize and facilitate Rapid Continuous Improvement events including the prework, follow up, and post event sustainment while instilling quality culture
  • Develop and maintain site RCI event calendar and RCI event planning processes
  • Champion and execute BPI Certification Process
    • Coordinate and work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Sales, customers and members assisting in process and product improvement plans and status
      • Assist in management of the Mi Idea program and management of 6S Implementation
      • Eliminate waste and streamline flow and processes using lean methodologies
      • Drive visual management into all aspects of manufacturing environment
      • Participate in projects efficiently and with high-quality expertise in accordance with established time constraintsWhat You Have:
        • Lean manufacturing principles, including Rapid Continuous improvement, 3P, Value Stream Mapping, problem solving, and statistical analysis
        • Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail
        • Demonstrated successful implementation of continuous process improvement programs
        • Experience with Project Management encompassing start-to-finish planning and execution.
          • Strong communication skills with ability to motivate and influence others, as well as interact productively with members within all levels of the organization and external suppliers and customers
            • Proficient understanding of capability studies, Production Failure Mode Effect Analysis, A3 and 8D tools
            • Resourcefulness in problem solving
            • Ability to react to changing needs, situations, and priorities
            • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate issues and potential solutions
