change.Your Responsibilities -As a Design Engineer -for John Deere
Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, IA, you will...
-
- Design and procure hardware for drivetrain parts -to support
continuous improvement, model year, and cost reduction
activities
- Coordinate with the Product Verification and Validation teams
to develop test plans
- Support quality issues related to drivetrain components for
design level needs
- Gather, analyze, and make decisions based upon available
information and seek out additional information when necessary to
ensure design changes are successfully implemented -VISA

- Design engineering experience through internships or other
employment
- Experience with Creo -or other 3D CAD -modeling software
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and system
modeling
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team with strong
interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and
PowerPointWhat Makes You Stand Out -
- Design experience on Agriculture, Construction or Forestry
vehicles
- Experience with design and analysis tools such as -FEA, CFD,
Matlab, or Romax
- Knowledge of hydraulic components, circuits, and diagrams
- Mechanical or agricultural background, operating and repairing
on highway or off highway equipmentEducation -Ideally you will have
a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: -
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural EngineeringWhat
