SUMMARY:
The CPM Roskamp Champion has a unique opportunity for a Project Engineer in our capital equipment manufacturing facility in Waterloo Iowa. This is an opportunity to join a highly successful business with advancement opportunities. We are looking for a highly motivated detail-oriented person with strong technical mechanical aptitude coupled with proficient 3D drafting skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding people skills.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to processing capital equipment orders from order receipt through shipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• 
  
• 
  Prepare accurate bills of materials for new equipment orders
  
  
• 
  Drafting approval drawings using Autodesk Inventor
  
  
• 
  Determine when new designs are required for orders
  
  
• 
  Communicate with customers and sales representatives regarding status of orders, approval drawings, and production
  
  
• 
  Maintain and organize all digital equipment files
  
  
• 
  Work with OEMs of auxiliary equipment to provide information for purchasing, approval drawings and certified drawings
  
  
• 
  Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Production departments to ensure seamless flow from acceptance of order through shipment
  
  
  DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
    
    
  • 
    Autodesk Inventor (or equivalent)
    
    
  • 
    Ability to read mechanical blueprints
    
    
  • 
    Experience with ERP and MRP systems (SAP Business One is a plus)

    Excellent customer service and communication skills

    Attentive to details
    
    
  • 
    Technical or Engineering degree preferred (Entry Level candidates considered)

    Project Management experience preferred
