Responsibilities--As a--Design Engineer, Continuous Improvement
Vehicle--for the John Deere--Product Engineering Center--located in
Waterloo, IA, you will:--
- Provide Continuous Improvement design support for the Row Crop
Business Units at TCAO.
- Implement designs that improve quality and warranty goals for
the customer.
- Collaborate with other engineering and factory functional
groups to develop those Continuous Improvement tractor
designs.
- Validate and release component designs through the John Deere
CI process and systems.--VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this
position.What Skills You Need--
- 2 or more years experience integrating tractor subsystems
(hydraulic, engine, axles, drivetrain, cab, etc.) and designing
simple & complex tractor components.
- 2 or more years of experience in roles requiring application of
fundamental engineering principles (such as: fluids, mechanics,
kinematics, thermodynamics, statics, dynamics, and material
properties).
- 2 or more years experience creating models and drawings and
working in top down assemblies within Pro/E Creo.
- 2 or more years experience utilizing GD&T within drawings
and for tolerance stackups.
- 2 or more years experience working with cross-functional teams
and projects.What Makes You Stand Out--
- Knowledge of Large Tractor platforms and applications.
- Knowledge of factory layouts and processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of Large Tractor chassis
designs.
- PDMLink, cProjects, and SAP experience.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodology.
- Ability to prioritize skills and experiences from most

degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:--
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or related
