Coordinator Location: Des Moines, IA Shift: 1st Shift —
Monday–Friday (flexible 6:00 AM start) Overtime: Possible based on

future Overview Robert Half is partnering with a global
manufacturing leader to hire an Experimental Parts Procurement
Coordinator. This role supports experimental and prototype
manufacturing operations by managing routing creation, inventory
movement, material coordination, and troubleshooting part or
program issues to keep production running smoothly. If you enjoy

Responsibilities Build, edit, and maintain manufacturing routings
for experimental/ prototype builds Generate fabrication programs
for production operations Review and interpret manufactured part
prints Monitor experimental inventory levels and anticipate future
needs Coordinate material transfers between departments with
accurate documentation Communicate with internal teams on part
status, transfers, and availability Collaborate with Supply
Management on purchased components and stock updates Prepare and
update daily/weekly operational reports using Excel and Microsoft
Office tools Occasionally design or model simple parts to support
shop floor activities Troubleshoot engineer part requests and
provide solutions Diagnose and resolve issues related to laser
programs, routings, and part flow Tools & Systems Used SAP CREO
AutoCAD Lantek Radan Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Required Qualifications Associate degree in Pre-Engineering,
Manufacturing/Engineering Technology, CAD, or related field — or
equivalent technical experience Experience working in a
manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational, communication, and follow?through skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem?solving
abilities Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and technical
prints Experience with CREO and AutoCAD Familiarity with SAP and
Power BI Understanding of inventory management concepts High level
of computer literacy and comfort learning new systems Preferred
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field Mechanical
aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills Knowledge of sheet metal
fabrication or related manufacturing processes
