Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems effectively. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and longevity. Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns and provide timely solutions. Collaborate with construction teams during new installations to ensure proper HVAC design and integration. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform equipment repairs and appliance servicing as needed. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed. Adhere to safety protocols while working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other hazardous materials. Skills Proficient in HVAC/R systems with a solid understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and boiler operations. Experience as a service technician with hands-on field service experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics. Capable of performing welding tasks related to equipment repair and installation. Background in property maintenance is advantageous for understanding customer needs. Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
