The Talent Acquisition department is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ISU staff recruiting and hiring and is responsible for the oversight and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition related functional areas. This position collaborates within University Human Resources (UHR) and other stakeholders across the university to ensure an optimal and consistent Talent Acquisition experience for all staff. The Associate Director of Talent Acquisition assists with the management, development, and execution of Talent Acquisition related programs, policies, and activities, in addition to providing consultation and guidance to senior-level leadership on complex Talent Acquisition related issues.Example of Duties Responsible for managing continuous improvement in HR related functional areas and serving as a liaison for HR related programs. Monitors performance metrics and conducts Workday data auditing, working to deploy strategies for improvements. Facilitates resolution of service delivery issues within the units in collaboration with UHR and division leadership. Ensures consistency and standardization of HR functional knowledge across University Human Resources. Maintains working knowledge of all applicable HR policies and procedures and applies them to complex situations. Leads and works on complex HR related functional projects. Supports HR Delivery, advising unit leaders on workforce strategies, leveraging tools developed and delivered by UHR functional areas. Supports HR Delivery on deploying, communicating and training units on new HR programs, policies, and processes.
