As the Supply Management Specialist, you will be responsible for purchasing of service parts, establishing and maintaining the relationship between vendors and John Deere, as well as improving processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in agricultural manufacturing and supply chain management!This position is for 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, with limited overtime as neededSupply Management Duties:-Provides Entry Level Sourcing, Enterprise Product Delivery Process, Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process support-Assists with cost models, make vs. buy studies, spend analysis, invoice issue resolution, and other data analyses-Works with Strategic Sourcing to address supplier performance issues, and provides permanent solutions to these supplier performance issues-Assists with supplier selection based on set criteria such as quality, cost, etc.-Develops and executes inventory plans to achieve inventory and material flow goals-Resolves shipping, receiving, invoicing and payment problems-Drives continuous improvement in terms of performance and lowest total cost with the Supply Base-Expedites parts as necessaryCall Christin today at to learn more!
