Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the companys financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the companys shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.corporate properties, security, and global services.

Enterprise Finance & Stakeholder Relations Group Portfolio Management Office (EF & SR GPMO), is part of the larger Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO).

Our Portfolio Delivery team of Project Management professionals, align to multiple lines of business across Enterprise Finance and Stakeholder Relations, to ensure projects are executed in support of strategic business objectives and provide governance for the Enterprise Finance portfolio in terms of delivery, culture, risk management, effectiveness and efficiency of project management resources.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are long-term, line of business-wide and medium to high in risk, scope, complexity.
  • Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work.
  • Develops and revises complex project plans and budgets, works with users to understand complex problems and focuses on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines.
  • Creates and delivers presentations to senior management on project goals and plans, including progress reports.
  • Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end.
  • Develops and implements program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics.
  • May be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors.
  • May manage a program or a series of projects associated with a specific business function.
  • Performs project risk analysis.
  • Leads project staff, including training and providing input to performance evaluations.
  • May directly or matrix manage 1 or 2 project staff team members

    Required Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation

      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels

      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
      • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
      • Knowledge and understanding of project and process management
      • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: creation of business cases, project initiation, development of comprehensive business requirements, and identification of project interdependencies
      • Project Management Institute Certification (PMI)
      • 3+ years of Agile experience
      • 3+ years of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience
      • 3+ years of change management experience
      • 3+ years of business process experience
      • Ability to track large volumes of activities across multiple projects and groups
      • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
      • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
      • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
      • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

        Other Desired Qualifications

        • Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo businesses
        • Experience with large-scale project transformation initiatives
        • Significant experience managing non-technical business projects
        • Strong understanding of core enterprise functions and capabilities
        • Business requirement analysis experience in working with multiple stakeholders to understand current and target state processes, including facilitation and development of business requirements and ability to create and define scope that aligns with the business case
        • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with strategic business focus and vision
