Pediatric opening in Waterloo, IA Responsibilities: - Well-established and growing practices - Two clinic locations- Cedar Falls & Waterloo, IA - Dedicated Pediatric Clinics with inpatient rounding - Integrated team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers - Solid referral base and existing community partnership across the Cedar Valley - Dedicated Pediatric Clinics with inpatient rounding in the Pediatric Floor and Newborn Nursery - Additional support from Neonatologists - Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well - Competitive compensation and benefit package includes - Competitive compensation with sign on bonus - Generous PTO vacation package - Relocation allowance - $5,000 CME annually - 5 paid days for CME annually - Fully integrated system with clinic and hospital EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Practice Details: - Office hours 8-5 PM with extended hours on Tuesday/Wednesday (8AM-7PM) - Flexible scheduling allows for good work life balance - Call and inpatient rounding 1:5 rotation - Average number of patients 15-25 per day - Full scope of Primary Care services for Pediatric patients - Delivering exceptional patient care with knowledge and understanding of how treatments affect different developmental growth stages - Well baby visits, Check-ups, annual physicals, and monitor growth and development - Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve - Provide the best outcome for every patient every time Qualifications: - BC/BE Pediatrics - PALS, BLS, and NRP - Eligible to work in the United States - Ability to work as a team member - Hold current and unrestricted state and federal license to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate About the Area: - There are a lot of reasons to live, learn, work and play in the Cedar Valley.
