Family Medicine Associate Program Director opening Iowa Located in Waterloo, IA Full-time, permanent opening Hospital employeeSeeking Family Medicine, Associate Program Director to assist the Program Director in the implementation of strategic planning and execution of educational opportunities for a Family Medicine Residency Program. Responsibilities Teach residents in inpatient and clinical practice Oversee the education and performance of residents in an inpatient and outpatient environment OB Optional Call shared between core faculty, approximately 1:4-5 (subject to change) Oversee 1-2 program wide quality improvement projects Provide 10-12 lectures on various topics throughout the year Act as resource for other faculty regarding administrative concerns and issues May represent the Program Director in hospital, statewide or community committees or activities as needed May attend Board Meetings, Finance Committee meetings or other committee gatherings in the director's absence Candidates Board Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the Review committee At least 5 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine and at least 3 years as a core faculty member in an ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
