qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Waterloo, Iowa, 50703! Pay
Information $2,200 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 Years in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele
License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
NIHSS Must-Have: Must be able to comfortably and confidently read
EKG/ECG including all Tele-related duties and responsibilities.
Must have EPIC EMR experience. Must complete a two-day class on
Identifying Cardiac Dysrhythmias and pass a test. Must annually
complete an educational module related to the specialty with
embedded test questions. Description: As a member of the
interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing
knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to
patients. This role involves the application of the nursing process
for patient care. You will work in a unit with a patient-to-nurse
ratio of 1:6. The unit has a bed size of 130 and utilizes telemetry
monitoring. You will manage drips including heparin, insulin,
lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin. You are required to work
every other weekend including holiday rotations. You will be part
of a dedicated team providing high-quality patient care.
