Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in general, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital ultrasound department performing approximately 15 scans per day - Patient population includes general, OB/GYN, and vascular cases - Imaging experience includes abdomen, small parts, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic scans, and a wide range of vascular studies - Procedures may include assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis - EMR system is Epic - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility - Must be available to work two out of three major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving - Limit of one day off request permitted between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 - Expect a variety of imaging responsibilities including OB dating and fetal anatomy, vascular duplex and Doppler studies, and assistance with specific procedures - Scrub attire policy and further details will be provided during onboarding Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required - Experience in all vascular scans is required - ARDMS (RVT) and BLS certifications required - Active state license and certifications required if applicable - Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred - First-time travelers considered with 2 years of experience Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611063.
