Job Title: Plastic Surgeon (Locum Full-Time Schedule) Location: Iowa Schedule: Full-time need (36 patient contact hours/week) Monday Friday schedule with call rotation Clinic Hours: 7:30a 4:30p Procedure/OR Days: 2 4 per week On-Call: Soft tissue and EMTALA call rotation Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon for a full-time locum opportunity in Iowa. The role includes inpatient responsibilities , ER consults , trauma call , and reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons. Practice Details: Inpatient responsibilities at main and satellite campuses No outreach or telehealth Team: 1 physician, 1 APP (no supervision required) Nursing support 1:1, ancillary staff 0.5:1 EMR: Epic Teaching opportunities available Clinic volume: 16 visits per day Appointment length: minutes Patient demographics: Surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages Requirements: Board Certified in Plastic Surgery Required Active Iowa license or IMLC Required Minimum 2 years experience Required Clean malpractice and background history Required Compensation: Competitive market rates (hourly 24-hour call) All travel reimbursed (flights, lodging, rental car, mileage per IRS rate) Malpractice coverage provided
