Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in eastern Iowa that has an opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to assist their team. Opportunity Overview: - Level III Trauma - Schedule: 12 or 24-hour weekday or weekend call shifts, 1:5 rotation - Setting: Inpatient - Delivery Volume: 65-80 per month - 40% low-risk patients, 60% high-risk patients - Duties: OB triage, deliveries, rounding, circumcisions if able, and - Required Procedures: Deliveries, laceration repairs, surgical gynecology, FHR interpretation, ultrasounds, and amniocentesis - Support Staff: 4 MDs, 1-2 CNMs, and labor & delivery, post-partum, OR, and ER staff - EMR: Cerner - Must be board-certified - Paid travel & expenses During your time off, visit an expansive art museum, catch a minor-league baseball game, and explore a 300-acre wetland preserve.
