Facility A hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility Location The facility is located near Harlan,
IA. About the Clinician's Workday The schedule follows a
two-weeks-on, one-week-off rotation, Monday through Friday, with
light call every third week. Call includes a 15-20 minute callback
time and follows a cycle of one week with call plus shift work, one
week of shift-only, and one week off. During the call shift week,
call runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with beeper call from Monday
through Sunday, including weekends, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cases
range from pediatric to older adult patients and include
bread-and-butter general surgery, abdominal procedures, scopes,
OB/GYN, ortho, ENT, urology/gynecology, podiatry, and cataracts.
Providers perform ultrasound-guided blocks, spinals, epidurals, and
manage difficult airways. Daily case volume varies. There is no
post-call day off. The facility uses Epic, operates with an
autonomous staffing model, and has two ORs. Additional Job Details
Case Load/PPD: Varies Call Ratio/Schedule: : light call ; call back
time 15-20 minutes. 1 week is Call Shift; 1 week is Shift Only; 1
week Off. During the week with Cal Location Type: On-Site
