Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Float pool position covering general medical surgical, rehabilitation, and behavioral health units • 63-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 • Every other weekend schedule including holiday rotation • Regular hours: 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours • Extended hours: 48 hours per week with overtime billable after 48 hours • Experience administering heparin and insulin drips required • Must have 24 months of experience in Med Surg, Med Tele, or IMCU capacity • EPIC electronic medical record system experience required • Must have completed at least one travel contract in previous 12 months • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • NIH Stroke Scale certificate highly preferred • Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required • Dress code: Pewter grey scrubs • Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical center providing a wide range of services including medical surgical care, rehabilitation services, and behavioral health treatment.
