Job Description Job Description McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for MLT for its Ames offices. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: performing laboratory tests classified under CLIA-88 as highly complex, moderately complex, or waived, in all sections of the laboratory under minimal supervision in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Employee Level vision related behaviors. Education Associate degree in medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and/or successful completion of a recognized course of study in Clinical Laboratory Technology. Certification/License Certification, or eligibility for certification, as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent. Days: Monday - Friday. Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience Minimum of 1 year experience working in a hospital or clinic setting as an MLT.
