ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Waterloo, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work every other weekend including holiday rotation • 16 hours guaranteed per week minimum • No on-call responsibilities • Patient ratio of 1:6 • Must have 24 months of experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele required • First time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of nursing experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized) • Must be comfortable and confident reading EKG/ECG including all telemetry duties and rhythm strips • Required to work with drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin • May float to behavioral health, emergency department, ICU, and some post-procedural areas • Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with passing score of 80% during onboarding • EPIC EMR experience required • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS, Iowa nursing license • Highly preferred certifications: De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI) and NIH Stroke Scale certificate • Minimum 50-mile radius rule enforced Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical facility with a 130-bed capacity, providing advanced medical-surgical and telemetry services.
