This contract opportunity focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing services to patients at a state-of-the-art cancer center. Candidates with Oncology RN experience and proficiency in MS Oncology nursing skills are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, including phlebotomy, injections, port draws, and patient education related to chemotherapy. Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners (NPs) and physicians (MDs) to monitor and manage patient treatments effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side-effect management, and health maintenance. Respond to call backs and participate in on-call rotations as required. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) with oncology experience, specifically MS Oncology. Skilled in phlebotomy, administering injections, port access, and chemo patient education. Experience working with EPIC EMR preferred. Ability to work within a fast-paced outpatient oncology clinic setting. Must comply with employee separation policies regarding past employment. Schedule & Compensation Details: 36-40 hours per week with billable overtime after 40 hours; overtime applies again after 48 hours. On-call pay $9/hr; call back pay at 1.5x multiplier with a two-hour minimum. Overtime and holiday pay at a 1.15x multiplier. Charge/preceptorship pay $6/hr. Night before off (NBO) policy of 16 hours.
