Salary: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $16-19/ hour
Supervision: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Assistant Director
Hours: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Business hours are 8 am to 7pm M-Th and Friday 8 am to 5pm. Position does require minimum 1 night of working until 7pm (Tuesdays) with flexing hours another day. Other days 8 am to 5pm.

Position Description: The receptionist will be in our home office working in a busy behavioral health clinic. The receptionist is the first point of contact for all patients and visitors and is responsible for greeting them and welcome them to our office. This position includes answering calls, returning calls after listening to voice mails, updating patient demographics, checking patients in and out including notifying staff when their appointment has arrived and scheduling the patient for the next appointment. -To be successful as a receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is a customer service role. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, your duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes patients and guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. Works in an atmosphere that requires teamwork and an orientation toward maintaining a high public image. Individual for this position must have a positive attitude, great customer service, communication, and organizational skills along with compassion and caring attitude for those we serve.
DAILY KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- - - - - - - Greet and assist clients with check in for appointments.
- - - - - - - Schedule appointments for returning appointments.
- - - - - - - Understand and recall accurate appointment codes.
- - - - - - - Answer incoming calls for appointments or inquiries and triage as appropriate.
- - - - - - - Reminder calls for appointments if needed (including doxy links for telehealth).
- - - - - - - Responding to emails or voice messages in a timely fashion (within 24 hours)
- - - - - - - Collect photo id, social security cards, insurance cards at time of appointment and copy. Updating as needed.
- - - - - - - Pass cancellations on to clinical team
- - - - - - - Check appointment comments for needed documentation / updated information needed.
- - - - - - - Call clients regarding openings of appointments
- - - - - - - Check mail daily and distribute
- - - - - - - Prepare and send out ROI's for clients if needed or as requested and follow up on information needed
- - - - - - - Additional administrative duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- - - - - - - A high school diploma, or equivalent, required.
SKILLS:

Excellent organizational skills with solid written and verbal communication skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude with care and compassion
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Previous work in mental health/behavioral health clinic
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Administrator or similar role
Professional attitude and appearance
Previous scheduling and reception experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
EMR , Word and excel experience desired.
