Job Description:

Now Hiring - Insulation Techs- Iowa City, IA Duties

• Read and use tape measure along with basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Climb stairs
• Work off of 6' thru 12' step ladders daily
• Work off of extension ladders taller than 12' occasionally
• Work off of scaffolding, elevated lifts
• Lift and carry ladders and materials daily - average up to 50 lbs and on occasion weight may be up to 100 lbs
• Listen and understand direction, then apply
• Work with hands to measure, cut, fabricate insulation & metal jacketing using sharp knives, saws, tin snips, etc. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months labor experience
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to read a tape measure
