Responsibilities--As a Virtual Design & Verification Engineer -
Dynamic System Modeling, for John Deere Agriculture and Turf
Division, located in Waterloo, IA, you will:----
- Develop dynamic systems models (DSM) of tractor hydraulics
systems such as steering, brakes, suspension, and offboard
power.
- Exercise these models in collaboration with design team to
develop hydraulic hardware and controls.
- Assist in integrating these models into whole vehicle
simulations for system level performance optimization.----Visa
sponsorship is available for this position.What Skills You Need--
- 2 or more years of engineering experience in the design,
analysis or testing of hydraulic--components and systems, and/or
their related controls.
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.What Makes
You Stand Out--
- Advanced user of MATLAB, Simscape and Simulink software for
simulation of mechanical systems.
- Previous work experience in dynamic systems modeling other
engineering analysis, and correlation to test results.
- Previous work experience in controls development.
- Comfortable using PTC Creo or other CAD tools.
- Thrives in cross-functional team of design, testing and
analysis.
- Advanced degree in engineering disciplineEducation--Ideally you
will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the
following:--
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related
