IT Security Systems AnalystPOS Professional Office Services is a
national healthcare communications company headquartered in
Waterloo, Iowa with production facilities throughout the country.

visit . We are currently seeking IT Security Systems Analyst
candidates for a unique career opportunity to become part of our
dynamic and innovative IT department. In this position you will
plan, implement, and assess system security measures and controls
to protect our computer systems, networks, and data from potential
breaches and intrusions. This position will also share in our
ongoing IT efforts to maintain business and employee
infrastructure. This position is an on site position and is located
at our Corporate Offices in Waterloo, Iowa.Responsibilities
Analyze potential breaches and
identify security violations, determine root causes, and remediate
POS security posture.Research technologies that will effectively
protect networks from data loss and service interruptions.Keep up
to date on latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies,
in order to anticipate security breaches.Maintain and monitor data
access, security access, and access controls for all POS
employees.Lead ongoing HIPAA training and other security measure
education for all POS employees.Assist in the creation,
implementation, and maintenance of network disaster recovery
plans.Keep POS current with SOC and HIPAA compliance
initiatives.Support the IT department's network administration and
troubleshooting tasks.
Analyze and maintain networks (LAN
and WAN), servers (physical and virtual), firewalls, routers, and
POS employee workstation hardware and software.
Other duties as assigned.Skills and
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required,
preferably in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.Technical
certifications such as systems or network administration
preferred2-5 years network administration required, with 5+ years
security systems administration preferredAnalytical with a
problem-solving aptitudeStrong communication skills, both verbal
and writtenOrganized and attentive to detailsThis is a Salary
Exempt Position with regular hours Monday - Friday, generally
between 8:00am-5:00pm. Starting annual salary $65K-$75K
commensurate with experience. POS offers an excellent opportunity
