CPM Holdings Inc. is a leading process and equipment solutions provider to the oilseed, animal feed, biomass, food, and materials processing industries. - We also serve the corn wet milling, pet food, ethanol and wood industries and are the world leader in pelleting, particle size reduction equipment and -automation. - CPM has more than 1,200 employees with facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.Job description:Electronics & Electrical (E&E) buyer will perform the category management, buying, planning, supplier management, and cost savings management for CPM Holdings. - They will spend 50% of their time partnering with the CPM Automation team to enable material availability and cost savings activities for the business while spending 50% on broader CPM corporate initiatives linking category strategy across global business units.Essential Job Functions:

Plan and purchase E&E requirements for CPM Automation (Beta Raven) groupDevelop North America E&E strategy across the with the business unitsAssess global E&E strategy linking the business units to the automation businessNegotiate contracts with OEMs and distributors and support vendor/business partner relationships Responsible for developing and maintaining cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models Undertake ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs to support the businessResponsible for conducting analysis and creating reports of weekly and monthly KPIs and forecastsPartner with engineering in development of alternative vendors and sources to mitigate ongoing supply chain riskWork with business units to develop make/buy analysis of key controls and integration purchasesClearly communicate to senior leaders (both internal and external), vendors and customersSkills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge: They require strong financial acumen - the ability to utilize fundamental concepts of finance to manage budgets, forecast costs, and provide relevant information for decision-making.
  • Computer skills: They require advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) with PowerBI preferred
  • Experiencing contracting with OEMs, distributors, and value-added resellers
  • Creative thinking ability: It is essential that they can demonstrate originality and imagination in thinking while developing a solution to a problem
  • Communication skills: They must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, and present technical information clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and audience
  • Customer service skills: It is essential that they are customer focused - they must think and act from customer perspective
  • Detail-orientation: They must factor in every detail in proffering holistic solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: They require this skill to be able to clarify and resolve complex business issues by breaking them down into meaningful components to determine root cause, and to redesign internal and external business processes where necessary. It is vital that they can approach problems systematically and develop scalable solutions
  • Flexibility: They require the ability to function in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Organizational skills: They must be highly organized and able to multi-task with a clear bias for action and a sense of urgency on priorities
  • Stress management skills: They must be able to handle high pressure and adverse situations with composure. They must have resilience and perseverance in the face of constraints Team player: They must be able to work well with others in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply chain or related field
    • 5+ years of related experience in category buying/sourcing with preference to E&E
    • Technical ability within E&E to enable cross functional collaboration
    • Ability to work on-site with a hybrid remote-work policy
