4–8 Account Managers Job Summary The Senior Account Manager is a
high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth,
profitability, and market share for MOC Products within an assigned
territory or national key accounts. This position combines
individual high-level account ownership with direct management and
coaching of a team of Account Managers to consistently hit or
exceed aggressive sales targets. Key Responsibilities Own and
achieve/exceed annual sales quotas (revenue, gross profit, and new
customer acquisition targets) for the territory/key accounts.
Develop and execute strategic account plans for top-tier customers
(national chains, large fleets, OEM dealership groups, and
distributors). Recruit, train, performance-manage, and develop a
team of 4–8 Account Managers; conduct regular ride-along, pipeline
reviews, and 1:1 coaching sessions. Monitor team KPIs (calls,
demos, close rate, new accounts opened, margin %) and implement
corrective action plans when needed. Expand share-of-wallet within
existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling the full MOC
product portfolio (chemicals, equipment, appearance programs,
service drives solutions). Identify, prospect, and close large new
business opportunities; personally lead complex, high-value deals.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, rebates, and national/regional
agreements while protecting company margins. Collaborate
cross-functionally with Marketing, Technical Support, Operations,
and Finance to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless program
execution. Deliver accurate rolling 90-day forecasts and maintain
meticulous CRM hygiene (Salesforce). Represent MOC at industry
trade shows, customer events, and association meetings. Analyze
market trends, competitive activity, and pricing to recommend
adjustments that protect and grow profitability. Required
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related
field preferred). 7 years of B2B sales experience in the automotive
aftermarket, chemical, equipment, or dealership services industry.
Minimum 3 years of proven sales leadership or team mentoring
experience (formal management experience strongly preferred).
Documented history of consistently achieving or exceeding $5M
annual sales targets. Deep understanding of dealership fixed
operations, service drive profitability, and appearance
reconditioning programs. Strong financial acumen; comfortable with
P&L responsibility, margin analysis, and rebate structures.
Expert-level negotiation and closing skills with large accounts and
buying groups. Willingness to travel 50–70% (including overnight
and occasional weekends for trade shows). Preferred Skills &
Attributes Existing relationships with national accounts,
dealership groups ( Lithia, Group 1, etc.), and or major fleets.
Experience selling both consumable products and capital equipment
programs. Advanced proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM
platforms. Charismatic leader who can motivate, hold accountable,
and develop talent. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
and relentless work ethic.
