Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Des Moines, IA Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 30 Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to join our client in Iowa for a 30-day assignment starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves providing medical hematology/oncology coverage for four to five days per week, including inpatient care across both sites. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, developing new and ongoing treatment plans, managing chemotherapy, and providing pain management. Responsibilities and Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments. Develop and implement new treatment plans. Manage ongoing treatment plans and therapy changes. Provide referrals for ancillary services. Offer end-of-life care. Oversee chemotherapy management. Administer pain management. Provide inpatient coverage at both sites.
