Job Description Job Description & Requirements Faculty Dermatology StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $340000.00 - $420000.00 The University of Iowa Department of Dermatology is seeking a general medical dermatologist to add to the growing faculty in their department. The position provides excellent work-life balance and flexibility and can be tailored based on the candidate's interest and area of focus. Opportunity Highlights: Tailor your role with a standard appointment of 80% clinical and 20% academic/research time. Prioritize outpatient clinical care, with options to engage in consultative inpatient dermatology if desired. Flexibility and support are available to conduct clinical trials or lead a clinical trials unit. Expect 7 half-day clinics per week (28 patient hours), split between the main campus dermatology clinic and the Iowa River Landing clinic. Flexibility to increase clinic hours with additional compensation. Standard inpatient rotation is 1:12. Experience a wide variety of cases, from complex medical dermatology to common conditions, at Iowa’s only academic, tertiary care hospital. Share night and weekend call on a 1:16 rotation, with minimal night duties and light weekend rounds.
